How about starting a group?

Hey guys, why dont we start a group? A group that will be more of educating fellow numismatic lovers like what we do here. A simple, new group. Say, meet ups every Saturday afternoon over coffee, show and tell (hehehe) of numismatic collections and good conversations about collecting coins and other numismatic items. Up to us if we want to trade or sell but the main reason is to educate everyone who loves numismatic. No officers, no dues. Game?

Great idea coolpit! count me in , although some mechanics may have to be set in motion, much like starting a car.
I checked with the group tab, and there is only one group - "moderators"
I propose suggestion to FN if another group can be included, say "field group" this is the group that can
meet say, once a month, and be the arrow-point for an actual "members eyeball event" this can serve as guide for any other future activities. Field meetings are of course recorded and reported to the Forum as membership news for non-field and overseas members.

This is done in other site clubs. The basic concept and benefit thereby to produce greater awareness and interest on the web site.

This "Field Group" (another word may be used, just a suggestion) inclusion with a screen tab, of course would need the approval of FN and the relevant moderator (Hi there FN! your comment greatly appreciated!)

From there, the ball starts rolling!

Please FN? this will be fun as we are having fun and learnings from this site.

I once heard, the smallest starting group is four, one to record, one to be the group leader, one to suggest, and the other to "2nd-the-motion" that's four, hey we can add the fifth as the audience! we already have four on this topic! so it's a go!

i'll see where this is going. I prefer doing things at the relative comfort of my home but lets see.
