There were also some Singaporean coins lately that had surfaced in Quiapo which are made of nickel but were being offered as silver, and other US minted coins from private minting companies which were mostly made of just a small percentage of silver or of less purity.

You should also watch out for fake silver yuan's usually issued in .999 and ranges for an ounce to a kilo. Mad

members and admins of silverstackers.com has recently released photos and youtube videos of FAKE silver bars from china.

the bars are silver plated copper and some are silver plated aluminum/tin alloy.

please be careful in buying silver bars. I am hoping that these chinese fakes haven't penetrated the local markets yet.
