| I tried looking up the One Peso Commemorative Coin series and this is what I found out: there were seven issues - 1947 (Mac Arthur) Silver 900 Fine, 1961 (Jose Rizal) Silver 900 Fine; 1963 (Bonifacio) Silver 900 Fine; 1964 (Mabini) Silver 900 Fine; 1967 (Bataan Day) Silver 900 Fine; 1969 (Aguinaldo) Silver 900 Fine; 1970 (Pope Paul) Silver 900 Fine.. Kindly add any information to complete this list.. thanks.. actually, some people say that two earlier peso coins are included here (1936 Murphy-Quezon and 1936 Roosevelt-Quezon) | |

| Coin Mintage are 100,000 pieces each except for the 1970 Pope coin which has a mintage of only 30,000 while the 1936 Murphy-Quezon has 10,000 pieces and the 1936 Roosevelt-Quezon also 10,000 pieces. Silver content are 90% for these commemorative coins but if you do not consider the 1936 set as commemorative coins then those two would only be 70% silver. somebody should have one disposable or very ugly coin melted and analyzed... | |

| ok thanks.. I read so many references and found that not all information can be fully accepted.. Examples are the following: some books are changing the info from time to time,. some books omit coins for unexplained reasons... some books give questioned dates or questioned mintage or questioned fineness.. etc.. but the most reliable are the coin collectors, as they give appropriate info and explain their reasons.. again, thanks to everybody.. | |
