Another Auction Empty
PostSubject: Another Auction   Another Auction EmptySun Jul 17, 2011 8:01 pm

I attended another auction this afternoon and it included some coins, but most of all, there was one coin I wanted to have. The floor price (tipo) set was P1250 and I estimated that it will go up to P1500.. It was a long time waiting for me since the item was number 289 or so on the list... And after all the waiting, the coin was finally called up but, another guy was really bent on taking the coin and after it reached P1500, I pulled out of the bidding and went home.. next time waiting again, maybe on August 21 coin auction...

Yes, that is a very nice suggestion.. Auctions should be scheduled during times that most have some money.. for me, since I wait for my small pension, I have to save, wait and choose only a few coins during auctions..

Yes, the Auction this Sunday will be at the Tropical Hut on Scout Borromeo Street in front of the big National Book Store. If you are coming from the EDSA MRT, it is on your left if you are facing towards North (Trinoma, SM City, Balintawak and/or Monumento).. If you are like me that has doctor's order to walk always (good for your health) you can just walk thru Panay Avenue which is parallel to Quezon Avenue (four to five blocks, enough for a day's exercise). The place will be busy by 10:00 AM, when they start displaying the items.. I hope I can be there..

If you are coming from EDSA then you will have to go to Quezon Avenue and take a U-turn after the pedestrian overpass. Look at the Mercury Drug Store area. the first time I brought a car, there were lots of parking in that place plus a regular police car parked in there.. a lot of space around that area too.
