| The issue of the PNAS presidential ouster between FN and dekada are getting boiling hot right now. Each one of them had their own detailed reasons about who's right and who's wrong. Members and non members who read this forum everyday are getting more confused each day. Remember guys, we are a numismatist as we have called ourselves to this hobby. And we all know that there are two sides in a coin. We must not put a conclusion right away to just one party. We must listen to both of them to present their facts; give them chance to reason out or defend themselves. It's like scrutinizing a nice piece of coin. We don't just grade or judge a coin to just one side of it or the other way around. Anyway, this issue will end up in court and we'll know later when the judge will make his decisions. Then, that's the time we can celebrate who will stand as the victorious pro and the defeated con. EWY | |

| I agree up to a point, the main thing we all must remember is that no matter what has been said, there is only one PNAS and that is what's important. The elected leader's come and go, but the Society remains. When the smoke settles, and the current dispute is but a bad piece of PNAS history, the Society will still be here. Unlike many of you, I've had access to much of the original information from both sides and I know both sides have done questionable things. It's time we as member's stand up and demand that the good of the Society come first. ~ Jim | |

| Hi I'm new to coin collecting and would like to register and join PNAS, my question is: Would it be better to join now or wait until the commotion I'm hearing is resolved? I really just want to meet other coin collectors who are active on the hobby. Thanks in advance for the replies | |
