| I am working on a base metal coin website http://www.currencydebasement.com I have been having a pretty hard time getting information on older coin issues of the Philippines. Does anyone know of any government sources, such as legislative or regulatory? They don't have to be in English. Also, if you have any feedback on the site I would be glad to hear it. Thanks! | |

| Most old Philippine coins were minted outside of the Philippines like Paris, Pobjoy, Franklin, Sheritt, Denver, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Royal Mint so sources of information may not be available in the Philippines. You may check Krause coin catalog for weight and composition of the coin that you are looking. By the way, what period in particular are you interested with.

| Just a comment it will take a lot of research and studies and you might have a actual coin it self to weigh it in grams and in troy ounce,we just have to buy a book on Philippine coin and make a new book like Freeman and other reference book with its metal composition and size in diameter there are some entries in wikipedia on its metal content.
On how many silver copper and other metal can be made in 383.24g or one troy ounce,it is broad.
Where are you base? | |
