I started collecting when I was nine. And since my father is working abroad I asked him to send me some foreign coins and for him to ask his friends to give me some of their spare coins.
My father is working on a construction firm, while demolishing a house he stumble upon a 100 Mon coin of Japan Tempo Tsuho, a quite rare coin. He called me to describe his find and said that he will send it along with the other coins that his friends gave him.
I was very excited since I will soon be having a rare Japanese coin, and a lot of foreign coins that is free!
When the coins arrived(200-250pcs) aside from the mon coin there are some 1930's British silver shillings, some copper shogun coins and a coin "ISLE OF MAN 1995" with queen Elizabeth II obverse and a cat at its reverse, I became curious about this one. and upon my inspection and research it was an
"ISLE OF MAN 1/5 ounce .9999 FINE GOLD TURKISH CAT COIN" in mint condition! And its value (in the net) is around $400-500. And again it is for free!
Aside from this it also has a gold bezel. The owner might have thought that it was just an ordinary coin...
the end. ABE
