| Here is a note from personal collection that I would like to share to everyone. This is a color trial from the Japanese occupation period. A 100 pesos printed with a blue reverse and no serial numbers. I have posted a normal note for comparison. THE COLOR TRIAL NOTE: THE REGULAR NOTE: | |

| Hi! That's a good question. To tell you the facts, there are no recorded counterfeit JAPOCC notes other than that made by the Allied forces during World War 2 to inflate or flood the market with JAPOCC notes. There are plenty of JAPOCC notes that is why they are called "Mickey Mouse" money. Logically, no counterfeiters for economic reason tried or would even try to reproduce a coin or note which has no economic value. A genuine FAKE JAPOCC notes or contemporary counterfeit is worth more than that of the original note itself. Welcome! FN | |
