Hello to everybody

Just registered today and making my initial posting to this great forum

First things first - I've been collecting Banknotes issued by Central Bank of the Philippines now Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas since the 1980's.

My collection is by President - Governor (now by year)

Are you aslo collecting shells, the golden cowry is shell collector must have. the notes the will be release in december.

No I don't collect shells - but I would love to own a Golden Cowrie ( saw one in Ali Mall that sells for P5,000

Golden Cowry (Cowrie) were the first form of currency use in our islands -

5000!!! that price is too expensive. I bought a glory of the sea cone and a voluta imperialis from a shell dealer at a very LOW price, they are also selling golden cowries(at that time 2000 for an almost fist size ). I will send you their contact no. when i got home, since the business card that they gave me is there.
