| Community,
I have seen old Whitman brand albums for Typeset 1868-1958. I've also seen expensive ($45+ international shipping) Philippines-based whole series albums for sale on Ebay (they are blue colored and not of high quality). I have yet to see any other source for albums. Are there any other albums?
Also, has anyone ever tried to make thier own album using Dansco or other companies' blank pages? How was the experience? For example, do you directly match the port size to the coin or buy a port size slightly larger than the coin?
Best regards, Owen | |

| The maker of the blue album made in the Philippines as far as I know has already discontinued making it. Those being sold on the internet are already collectibles, probably the reason why it is being sold at a higher price. I don't have any bad comment on the blue album. The craftsmanship is good and it is very precise. I am not familiar about other albums sold on the internet. Kanor | |

| The fitting is great but the plastic that covers the coin seem too ordinary and less protective but otherwise its competitive perhaps because there is no alternative choice otherwise. | |

| I couldn't see the plastic in the pictures. I didn't realize both sides of the coin could be seen. I thought it was simple cardboard holes. Maybe they are OK albums afterall then. Next time I'm in PI I'll get some.
I wrote Dansco and asked them to make some good ones. They probably won't, but it doesn't hurt to ask. | |

| There is plastic but not that durable to last for a long time because it is just a film. That is probably the easiest to break down among the components of the album. Its kinda old style but it still good. | |
