| Most of the letters have a numeric equivalent just like in wikipedia.
Most of the weight in other countries use a grain weath or barley to have a measure.
In tagalog maybe butil.
Maybe corn or maize or palay piloncitos could be an equivalent of a measure or denomination a lenth.
Pilonsitos as a mas 2.65 grams massa,mass,measure,mene.
A lenght of several beads ofg piloncitos equivalent to a measure with letter.
M as the highiest denomination in gold and in weight in piloncitos.
now the other letter let the expert who have piloncito weigh them what is the first and first letter.
Maybe barya also barangay smallest unit.
It was made for more standard of trade, standard metal gold, standard measure.
No silver and copper? Other coin in ancient times they stamp to sign it as a good gold.
Piloncitos with letter it must be good gold wagas with letters.
M also represent water most of M have wavy lines in baybayin it is with circle and two poke just like a head of a ox which represent A or head.
Most of the coin in ancient times was symbolised by head like the coins of lydia with a lion or other animal abudant in thier area.
Some coin also represent wealth like ass or donkey, horse bull,ox common animal used for thier living and trade, sometimes also as a unit of measurement and denomination.
In the past they use scale that can weigh a bull or a cow.
Maybe water bufallo,Letter m as a measure and water buffalo is abudant in the area used for farming.
Its a currency with a measure base on animal repersent with a letter. | |

Just posting.

http://books.google.ie/books?id=QKgraWbb7yoC&pg=PA144&lpg=PA144&dq=piloncitos+denomination&source=bl&ots=3VxVLd55VX&sig=1j0zxevCisIKSLX-FjQbDbuSsIM&hl=en#v=onepage&q&f=false
http://www.coincoin.com/seHS.htm
Its nice if it is a measure for lunar cycle.
That will be 294/9 days in a month and .09g for a day and 2.65g for a month.
500AD there is a gold coin thyrmsas 1.32g and sol debased to 4.0g
From UK to Philippines to up that distances there is shortage of gold in the west and intruduce silver coinage around 700 while in the philippines they used mostly of gold,
There are some entry in the web that gold coins on that time was used only in special ocassion other argue that its well circulated on both sides,I think
The highiest coin is the byzantine coin.
.09 is a coin and a denomination like the uncial and the highiest denomination is 2.65g dont know if there is other denomination,
Anyone Please kindly post.
Most of the tribe knot a rope to track the day and month the most accurate on the entry of the web is from bontoc or mountain province.
Visaya is 353 days and 10 to 11 days rest I think.
Same a pilontos they carry it in a string.
Seen the picture in the manila mint in wikipedia there is a circle inscribe in piloncitos not bramic letter b for m.
It could be day or sun night or moon or new moon start of a month.
There is also butuan alphabet that have o or 0.
Just a comment.
Around that time 1 grain is 0.0645 grams in sceatta.
In gold maybe .09 grams or grain or something else.
Well its a standard weight and measure mas used in asia region.
Just posting.
Letter ma below the bull.
http://www.bsswebsite.me.uk/A%20Short%20History%20of/coins.html It could be the name of a kingdom or a place a mass or a bull maka baka.
If the highest wieght or mass is 2.65 grams dont know what is the tro ounce in good gold metal content.
It will reach 40.9 grams for 2.65
And 1.29 or 1.30 in sceatta is 20.6 grains.
So the ration or number of grain use in Philippine on that time is 1/40 or 1/41 or 40 grains.
Or in grain with sceatta is 40/24 36/400 is .09 lowest gold denomination or 36/4 centi.
Just a comment.
