Subject: wartime coins? Fri Sep 17, 2010 12:24 pm
A friend is offering me some Japanese coins circulated here in Manila during the Japanese occupation. He says they are silver coins. I have yet to see it and he do not know how much he should get for it. Anybody out there know anything about these coins? What should I look out for? How much should it cost? Thanks everybody.
please post an image so that we can be able to see them, both obverse and reverse. ABE

The promised wartime coins did not materialized, it was american and european coins including chinese coins.. nothing was new or different, sorry pero nakoriente lang po ako.. exagerated stories are just very tempting to believe.

Subject: Thanking everyone. Sat Oct 02, 2010 9:34 pm
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has replied to my various questions. I had just learned how to post messages.. For those asking why I cleaned my coins, it is because I always touch and examine these coins and most of these smell bad and are dirty looking and has no plans of selling it.
