| What is the correct denomination of the Bolivian coins during the Spanish period? Does the denomination "8S" mean 8 soles or 8 sueldos or are they one and the same? | |

| Both are just the same meaning and has been used interchangeably ever since. It's very similar to our own currency "piso" vs. "peso". Local dialect was commonly used rather than the international designated name.
